ABOUT THE EDITOR
Smith's Taxation Editor, Clive Steward BA(Hons) FCA, graduated from business school in West London in 1975. During a time in industry he became a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
He later trained, in Central London, to become a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales in 1981. He was entered into Fellowship in 1991. Following experience with 2 firms of Chartered Accountants in Covent Garden and Chesham, Buckinghamshire he formed his own practice in 1984.
He relocated to Somerset in 1986, and continues to this day as a Sole Practitioner dealing with the financial and tax affairs of the smaller business.
Since 1992 he has edited a number of tax titles aimed at both fellow professionals and the layman. These titles include: -
